JSAP-OSA Joint Symposia
All presentations in the joint symposia must be in English.
All the speakers must be a member of either JSAP, OSA, OSJ or JSAP’s partner societies*.
The special issue of this symposium is being considered for publication from a OSA publishing journal, OSA Continuum.
A student speaker who made an exceptional presentation will be given a best student paper/presentation prize of 150 USD and a 3-year OSA student membership.
The winner will also be offered to publish an invited paper in the special issue of the OSA Continuum.

Travel Award
Student speakers from abroad who will present at the JSAP-OSA Joint Symposia 2020 are invited to apply for a travel award.
The purpose of the awards is to encourage greater participation from abroad and to make our symposia diverse and vibrant.
Please note the Travel Award will be given only when the meeting is physically held.
The awardees will be selected by the program committee.
Travel awards will be distributed as reimbursements upon submission of receipts.
The solicitation for the travel award is cancelled since the meeting will be held as an online virtual meeting.
